el sur podemos encontrar el complejo tur\u00edstico de Playa del Ingl\u00e9s y Maspalomas, visitado por m\u00e1s de 2.000.000 de turistas cada a\u00f1o, con dunas y playas de arena dorada. En la zona central hay altas monta\u00f1as cubiertas de bosques e incluso nieve durante el invierno, y profundos valles llenos de frutas tropicales y flores. En el norte se encuentra la capital, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. y sus alojamientos. Muchos dicen que es la mejor playa urbana del mundo. A lo largo de su paseo que se extiende por 3 kms encontramos un excelente servicio de restauraci\u00f3n, bares y terrazas. Cuenta con balnearios y duchas p\u00fablicas gratuitas muy bien cuidadas. Hay zonas para surfear como la del Auditorio y otras m\u00e1s tranquilas. Los atardeceres son espectaculares y en d\u00edas claros se pueden apreciar el imponente perfil del Teide en la vecina isla de Tenerife.
